Samsung Electronics UK has experienced the third hacker attack in two years

Samsung Electronics UK has experienced the third hacker attack in two years, which was disclosed on November 13th, involving customer data from July 2019 to June 2020 through a vulnerability in a third-party app.

The exposed information includes names, phone numbers, physical and email addresses. This adds to previous breaches in 2022, one with the Lapsus group in March and another in July.

The growth of attacks on technology companies is a growing concern. However, in contrast, there are innovative solutions like Certiblok, a blockchain-based document management system, which provides a secure refuge from viruses and server attacks.

This highlights the increasing importance of implementing advanced technologies to protect sensitive information and underscores the need to review and enhance cybersecurity measures in the increasingly complex digital environment of technology companies.
