What is the DORA regulation and when does it apply?
DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act, EU Regulation 2022/2554) governs digital operational resilience in the European financial sector and has been fully applicable since 17 January 2025.
Who does DORA apply to?
It applies to banks, insurers, investment firms, payment institutions, asset managers and many other European financial entities, as well as to the third-party ICT providers that support them.
